These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Lockwork, including the Lockwork mobile application and this website. By using Lockwork, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Lockwork is designed for personal use by students and other individuals who want structured focus sessions. You may use the service only in compliance with applicable law and only for lawful purposes.

• You are responsible for the materials you add to the app.
• You may not use Lockwork to infringe intellectual property rights or violate another person's privacy.
• You may not interfere with the service, bypass restrictions, or attempt unauthorized access to any part of the system.

Lockwork helps users run timed study sessions, block selected apps, organize study material, and generate quiz-based unlock flows from user-provided notes or pasted content.

Some features depend on Apple Screen Time, Family Controls, or similar device permissions. If those permissions are not granted, some parts of the service may not function as intended.

If Lockwork offers paid subscriptions or in-app purchases, billing and renewal are handled by the platform through which you subscribed, such as Apple. Pricing, trial availability, renewal timing, and cancellation rules are presented at the time of purchase and in your platform account settings.

You are responsible for managing or canceling subscriptions through the platform provider associated with your purchase.

Lockwork, including its software, design, branding, and related content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are granted to you.

Lockwork is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that the service will meet every specific study, productivity, or academic outcome.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lockwork and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the service. If liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the amount you paid for Lockwork in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

We may suspend or terminate access to Lockwork if these terms are violated, if the service is being misused, or if continued access creates security, legal, or operational risk.

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms become effective when posted on this page. Your continued use of Lockwork after an update means you accept the revised terms.
